Vi har åkt på turné längs gässens flyttvägar och kombinerat Andreas Norins professionella foto med Ulf Lindroths intresse för den här jaktformen. Resultatet är jaktfilmshistoria.
Massor av jaktscener förstås. Däremellan en rad tips om hur man förbereder och genomför en lyckad gåsjakt. Sist men inte minst har vi sökt reda på mannen vi tror är Nordens skickligaste gåslockare, särskilt när det gäller grågåslock. Till vår förtjusning upptäckte vi att han dessutom var en strålande lärare. Resultatet ser du i filmen!
Decoying Geese is an instructional film about modern goose hunting using calls, laydown blinds and decoys. But it is also a hunting film. There are lots of examples from hunts in different parts of Sweden, as well as in Denmark, which will show the result of doing things right – and of doing them wrong!
Successful goose hunting is built on solid preparation and good equipment. For that reason we’ll take extra care to talk about recon, blinds, decoys, calling, and how to act on incoming geese.
A particular highlight – one of them – is one of the best instructions on calling Greylag Geese published up to this date. As all our instructions, it is mixed with examples from actual hunts.
We hope this will be a film you’ll enjoy regardless if you’re hoping to become a more efficient goose hunter, or if your’re just hoping to see a lot of geese and a lot of goose hunting.
